The neighbourhood
The house is on rue des Commerçants, a residential street a stone's throw from place du Béguinage and its baroque church. Six minutes on foot and you are on place Sainte-Catherine, between the fish restaurants and the terraces of the quai aux Briques.
The Grand-Place is fifteen minutes on foot, or two metro stops from Yser, a hundred metres from the door. Gare du Nord in twelve minutes, Tour & Taxis and its exhibitions in fifteen.
